New Markets for IT and Media Technologies
Innovations and new markets – these are the main factors in an inter-regional contest to secure and create jobs. Discovering trends at an early stage supports the competitiveness of a region as well as the emergence of new markets.
For this reason, Baden-Wuerttemberg launched the non-profit project FAZIT (Forschungsprojekt für Aktuelle und Zukunftsorientierte Informations- und MedienTechnologien und deren Nutzung in Baden-Wuerttemberg – Research Project for Current and Future IT and Media Technologies and Their Use in Baden-Wuerttemberg).

Digital Paths to New Markets: FAZIT presents final publication

Delphi Report "Future information and communication technologies"

The key results of the third FAZIT delphi study "Future information and communication technologies" are now available in english. You can click yourself through the research findings starting from here. The Delphi report attempts to determine when 35 future information and communication technologies could become reality – or whether they will even be realised at all.
English version of the second FAZIT Delphi study
From now on you can download the english version of Band 6 of the FAZIT-Schriftenreihe called “Future Information Technology for the Health Sector“. The research report presents the result of the second FAZIT Delphi study executed by the Fraunhofer ISI. In this foresight research experts were asked, when they expect different future information technologies to be used inside the health sector. The first publication of the german version was in May 2007. Regarding to a partciular demand an english version of the report has now been produced. It can be downloaded here.
